Session 21
Go ahead, Weasel. Make my Arden Vul Session Report.
I've almost no thoughts on my vacuous brain this time around. I'm like haha yaaayyy hahaha yaaayyy, because Arden Vul is easy to run, quick, fun, and we did almost no accounting to take away from important matters such as the ceaseless search for a TPK.
This was perhaps the first time in a session yet where the negotiation procedure actually saved someone's (Eofor's) life, or at least a few of his HP depending on how the fight might have gone. I'm not sure if it was the right call since there would have been no Save in the original game, but I'm also not super pressed about being faithful to AD&D. Not enough to play it, clearly, I just worry about being too lenient, but there are other things I've ruled today which will likely make up for that. As well as Arden Vul just naturally being extremely mean in places.
They also keep stashing treasure in a level which hasn't been refurbished enough to count as "out of the dungeon", which means they've reinvented "pirate buries treasure" from first principles. I wonder how they'll take all that shit back to Gosterwick on 7 inches of snow, but that ain't my problem - it's the dragon charging their toll's per delve.
