Session 3 (Oct 15, 2026) - Roger Roger
Thoughts
No big thoughts this time around, it went pretty well, very thrilling and wrapped up the arc. This session was way more action-packed than the previous ones, and it felt right. Since the whole thing has been essentially half of a single day, though, I don't think Vinna has had much space to change as a character just yet. We'll see; one day is a long time during a war, after all.
Sieg says the next bit will be him trying his hand at doing a spaceship dungeon style, so I'm very excited for that. I think it has a lot of potential as a Gygaxian fortress, and I wonder what a classic style dungeon from someone who's never played one will look like.
Recap
As mentioned before, Vinna had seen Wat Tambor talking to some jabrony on his comms, so she promptly snuck her way into his ship using Jedi Trickery to make the dumb droids start discussing among themselves. There she found, as expected, a conversation between Wat Tambor and the strategy droid saying that this had ALWAYS been the plan and that they'll do an orbital blockade in two hours!!!
Vinna took the thing, snuck past a cleaning droid and pretended to belong when the droids outside got to her, ran to the wookiee king and exposed the crimes of Wat Tambor to everybody. Wat Tambor marched right in with a bunch of droids and started blasting, Vinna put herself between the king and the droids, spinning the saber to deflect the shots, which made Wat Tambor become shook and run away jetpackly. Vinna caught up to him but forced him to crash right in front of a platoon of droids, used him as human shield... and the droids promptly opened fire. She pushed him to the ground (they did not need a dead Separatist diplomat right now) and deflected shots but was hit in the arm. This being the first time Vinna Halcard, preppy girl and gentry, was ever shot, she started crying because it hurt so much.
Right then a shadow was seen going over her: Kit Fisto himself doing acrobatics bullshit and demolishing all of the droids singlehandedly before asking if she was fine as the clones took Wat Tambor away as a prisoner. We closed the session as three gigantic Separatist ships appeared in the night sky like white moons. The blockade has begun.
